System:
Digital addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) dimmable Slave Lighting control system with MODBUS network and MODBUS master control system.
System Over view:
System consist of a master panel and 12 + 1 numbers of slave lighting control panel connected in modbus industrial wired network.
The Master Panel:
Master panel is having touch control panel to control individual panels from the centralized monitoring facility to know the status of the slave control panels.
In ideal time master control panel inquires the status of each slave panel and update it on the screen. In control mode it can take control of each slave panel to switch on/off or change dimming levels as per requirement.
The Slave Lighting control panel:
Slave Lighting control panel is a panel which controls the operation of the lighting on/off and dimming operation as per programmed parameters.
Slave Lighting control panel consiste of HMI to update programming parameters and Manual on/ off and dimming operation from the local panel.
Panel is designed in such a way that it operates in a stand alone mode and not depeneds on any other devices on the network. This feature makes the overall system quite robust and can function normally in case of failure of any device on the network or even in case of network failure.
Although its stand alone system it is capable to take modbus commands from Master control and allow master to over ride its normal operational mode, which mostly used for maintenance purpose or for customisation in operation.
Slave control panel has capacity to control DALI (Digital Addressible Lighting Interface) luminaries for ON/ OFF and Dimming using single DALI network. Slave control panel consist of DALI controller and DALI gateway. This consist of programmable schedules ( 5 numbers) of different dimming level by which end user can customised their operational requirement to the optimum level of lighting and electrial consumption / saving.
